BALMORAL DREAMING (Hallie)

Colour: Bay
Date of Birth: 26/10/2000
Height: 16.2hh
Hallie is a very well bred mare by Duntroon out of a Don Ramiro mare. Duntroon is by Donnerhall. Donnerhall is said to be one of the great dressage sires of the century and the most successful dressage horse in the world. He was known for his expressive passage, piaffe and extended trot. He produced foals with big flowing movements and foals that showed Donnerhall’s extreme presence, beautiful carriage, intelligence and charisma. Duntroon was a very successful Donnerhall son, achieving vice-champion stallion of the Oldenburg approvals in 1993 and won the stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf in 1994.
Don Ramiro was by Don Primero who was a result of the highly regarded Donnerhall / Pik Bube cross. Don Ramiro was initially bought as a potential Grand Prix horse for Kristy Oatley-Nist and was campaigned in Australia by Heath Ryan, but unfortunately he did not reach his potential due to injury. He went on to sire a number of successful dressage horses in Australia including Brianna Burgess’s Daylight and Revelwood Donatello ridden by Daniella Dierks.
Hallie is the dam of Bangalow Creek Willow, Bangalow Creek Ravenleigh and Bangalow Creek Lexington. Hallie produces foals with big, scopey paces. Under saddle, her foals have proven to be very sensible, very trainable and very comfortable. Both Willow and Ravenleigh have shown three fabulous, correct paces, a natural ability to collect and a flair for lateral work.
Hallie is in foal to 00Seven this season.
