  • Horses taken for basic flatwork and dressage training
  • Clinics both onsite and travelling away provided by Katina
  • Stockhorse lessons and training provided by Shania

Katina is a dressage rider who has experience training horses from Young Horse to Grand Prix. Her young horses have made it into the top 3 at the Sydney CDI four times, BC Sangria who she bred and trained was NSW Advanced Horse of the Year 2019 and Just Dance who has won numerous State Championships is competing at Grand Prix in 2020.

As a coach Katina’s focus on the fundamentals of both horse and rider benefit combinations at all levels. Lessons encourage horses to work correctly over the back, therefore developing softness, suppleness, and an easy reaction to the aids. Through lesson horses, client horses and her own team of horses, Katina regularly works with a large range of horses at all levels, all with different personalities and challenges. This has made Katina a very versatile coach. Katina’s coaching style is very understanding, with practical and simple to understand explanations.

Shania has had much success training and showing stock horses prior to coming to work at Bangalow Creek Warmbloods.  Shania has also a lot of experience with breaking in and development of young horses. Since starting at Bangalow Creek Warmbloods Shania has been developing her dressage skills.  She rides a wide range of horses from Preliminary through to Grand Prix level work.  She has a very good understanding of the foundation work required in a young horse to ensure its success as a high level dressage horse. Shania is currently campaigning BC Romanov successfully in the FEI Young Rider competitions and is well on the way to riding in the Under 25 Grand Prix.
