The Long Overdue 2013 News Post

Last month we purchased the very beautiful Swarovski son, MW Shockwave.  His sire Swarovski is by Sandro Hit out of a Don Gregory / Rubenstein mare.  Shockie’s dam is by Weltmeyer.  Shockwave is three and a half years old, currently stands just over 17hh and is has a beautiful black coat.  He has wonderfully big and rhythmical movement.  We hope to do some Young Horse Qualifiers later in the year so that we can go to DWTS and the Sydney CDI in 2014.

Just Dance has had a big year.  We qualified for and competed at the Sydney CDI in May.  No wins this time as we are really just starting out at this level and I feel that we need a little more time to perfect the higher movements.  We ventured to Scone for the Regional Dressage Championships and were very proud to bring home the Medium Champion.  Thank you very much to the Upper Hunter Dressage Club for hosting a wonderful, friendly competition.  A big thank you also to “Brianna Burgess Futures Clinics” for sponsoring the Medium class.  We are now regularly achieving around 70% in Medium and are looking forward to seeing what we can achieve at the NSW State Championships this year.  We will also be competing in Advanced at the States, just need to perfect those pirouettes and put a little more finesse into the half-passes.  In mid August we head down to the Southern Highlands to attend the Hayley Beresford clinic which will be fabulous.

BC Just Magic's training is going really well.  He continues to show a beautifully friendly temperament and a good ability to learn.  He is still on track to compete in some Young Horse Qualifying events at the end of the year.  And because he is such a good looking lad we are also going to try our hand at a little Hunter Hacking later this year.

Richmeed Wintergold will make his annual appearance at the Taree Dressage Championships in the Inter 2 class.  We are very proud of him, he is now twenty years old and his work still continues to improve.

Our only problem at Bangalow Creek Warmbloods at the moment is “too many horses”.  Listed below are some super horses listed at some super prices.

BC Rosalinda – (Riverside / Aurum Pepeliashka (Prince Noir)) Rising two, Hanoverian registered filly, chestnut.  Beautiful filly with huge paces and great uphill conformation.  $6,600.  Rosie is pictured below.

BC Sundance – (Sandro Hit / Richmeed Dancer (Duntroon)) Rising three, bay gelding.  This guy is out of the same dam as Just Dance.  He has a super personality, has super elevation in trot and has a lovely active canter. $15,000.

Aurum Pepeliashka – (Prince Noir / Mary Poppins (Walt Disney)) 9YO Broodmare.  Sold in foal to Sir Donnerhall.  This mare produces wonderful foals with big, rhythmical paces.  $10,000.

Balmoral Dreaming – (Duntroon / Merrily (Don Ramiro)) 13YO Broodmare.  Sold in foal to Quando Quando.  Fantastic mare with great breeding.  She breeds big foals with big movement and a flare for lateral work. This mare was broken in as a youngster and has basic training up to Elementary level.  She provides a wonderful opportunity for someone wanting to start out in dressage.  You can ride the mare while you wait for your amazing foal to grow up. $5,500.

Foaling season starts early for us this year.  Dancer is due in late September.  She is in foal to the German stallion, Foundation.  Other foals due later in the year are by Sir Donnerhall, Quando Quando and Furst Romancier.
